How to replace your filament RFID tag

Three steps from a missing or damaged tag to a spool your AMS recognizes again.

  1. 1. Pick your spool

    On the homepage shop, choose the material family, filament type, and color that match the spool you already own.

  2. 2. We program & ship

    We encode each 25 mm Mifare Classic tag with filament identification data compatible with Bambu Lab AMS, apply 3M adhesive backing, and ship via letter mail (typically 1–3 business days handling). Tags arrive ready to use.

  3. 3. Stick it & load

    Clean the flat area on your spool where the original tag sat (or the recommended placement for third-party rolls). Peel the backing, press the tag firmly, and load the spool into your AMS slot. Your printer should set the correct material, color, and remaining filament automatically.
